Roku has launched its first-ever OLED TVs, introducing the Pro Series models with competitive pricing and advanced features. The 55-inch version starts at $999, offering a 120Hz refresh rate OLED panel, four HDMI 2.1 ports, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR 10 Plus. Amazon currently offers a $300 discount with the code ROKUOLED300, reducing the price to $699. This makes it the most affordable modern 55-inch OLED available, according to the retailer.
A 65-inch variant of the Pro Series is also available at a reduced price of $799 after applying the code ROKUOLED400, which knocks $400 off the original $1,299 list price. The TVs integrate Roku’s built-in software, eliminating the need for external streaming devices. Both models include a backlit Roku remote and support auto low latency mode for gaming. They also feature variable refresh rate technology compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium.
Roku has not yet tested these models, but they seem respectable if you want great picture quality without breaking the bank. The Pro Series LX, a higher-tier model, is scheduled for release in October with a starting price of $1,299. It promises double the brightness of the standard Pro Series, a reflection-reducing polarizer, and a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother motion.
