Nova Scotia Health is the largest supplier of health services in Nova Scotia. Our over 24,000 person workforce supplies healthcare and help providers in hospitals, health centres, and community-based programs across the province. Root-cause analysis of 30 maternal deaths was performed at one of many two peak referral hospitals in East Java province. Cases have been chosen from amongst the 70 maternal deaths that occurred at this peak referral hospital between 1 January and 31 December 2017.
